BTW, where exactly in the your quote does it say that we are told to lobby the government about Sunday? I missed that one and my parish priests have definitely neglected the entire congregation on that one. Blessings, Ann "Christians should seek recognition of Sundays and the Church's holy days as legal holidays."Seek legal recognition means to have the Government pkmtyolp laws to make sunday recognised as a day of rest.

"Christians should seek recognition of Sundays and the Church's holy days as legal holidays."Seek legal recognition means to have the Government pkmtyolp laws to make sunday recognised as a day of rest. As I stated, I have seen no evidence of such lobbying by my parish or any other. Guess that it not as emphasized by the RCC as much as you emphasize it to prove your points. Blessings, Ann

Protestant,
The "Mark of the Beast" will be a bio-chip that is implanted under the skin of the recipient's forehead or right hand and no-one will be able to buy or sell goods without it. The technology exists and Revelation, chapter 13, vv.16-17 seems to be in agreement with this:
"He (the antichrist) also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no-one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name."
Those people who receive the "mark" of the Antichrist will previously have chosen to totally reject the Lord Jesus Christ and will have no reason to reject his mark/bio-chip. This chip won't have the power to send them to Hell, but their heart attitude towards God will. They have chosen to worship the creature instead of its Creator. They will have, unknowingly, sold their souls to the Devil.
As for worshipping the Lord on Sunday - I haven't got a problem with that. I don't accept that this will be the "Mark of the Beast". If I'm wrong, then how will the day on which I worship God determine whether or not I can buy or sell goods?
Christian.

This is total nonsence. All you are doing is reading current events into the bible The mark is a counterfeit to the seal of God. This crap sounds like a science fiction novel rather than scripture. Again just reading into the bible. have to wait and see.

This is total nonsence [that the "Mark of the Beast" will be a biochip]. All you are doing is reading current events into the bible The mark is a counterfeit to the seal of God. You agree with me that the Book of Revelation relates to future events - yes? And aren't we Christians called upon to remain alert and understand the signs of the times? Of course the "mark" will be a counterfeit to the seal of God. God's seal isn't a biochip! God's seal is the Holy Spirit. And if a person truly belongs to God, he will not receive the "mark" of the AntiChrist. This crap sounds like a science fiction novel rather than scripture. Again just reading into the bible. Increasingly, God is alerting His people to the fact that Verichip, or something like it, is the "Mark of the Beast". This isn't science fiction, but fact. I can see that you will be deceived.have to wait and see. Come on, Protestant. You can do better than that. You should have been able to answer my question since you are so insistent that your so-called "Sunday Sabbath" is somehow the "Mark of the Beast". How can the day on which you worship God determine whether or not you can buy or sell goods?Christian.

Protestant,
How many times you use the word "crap" does not help us make any more sense of what you're saying. Also, I find it odd that you regard real technological developments as "science fiction". This is most peculiar.
Christian.

No He is not. You are being misled by cunningly devised fables. This verichip stuff is a red herring. You are believing that inspite of biblical reasoning. The mark is the mark of his name/character. How can a verichip be a sign of the beasts character? The govenments will simply make it illegal to trade with sabbath keepers. We will be cut out of the system. They will know who we are because we will be the ones telling everyone else that sunday observance is the mark of the beast.

The "Mark of the Beast" will either be "Verichip" or something very similar. It's interesting to note that you only ever listen to yourself and not what others have to say. This suggests that you won't accept the warning of God's angels when they tell you not to receive the "Mark of the Beast".The mark is the mark of his name/character. How can a verichip be a sign of the beasts character? It will be included on the biochip if it hasn't already. A wealth of information will be stored on the chip. The govenments will simply make it illegal to trade with sabbath keepers. We will be cut out of the system. They will know who we are because we will be the ones telling everyone else that sunday observance is the mark of the beast. According to whom? You, your SDA teachers - who? You are being presumptious. The day on which you worship your Maker won't determine whether or not you can buy or sell goods. That is nonsense. You are no more certain about future events than I. And your insults don't impress me.
Christian.

Protestant,
I find it very curious that you believe God only talks to SDA members like yourself about the future events mentioned in the Book of Revelation. I think you need to question what you are being taught and by whom.

Its not in the bible. He bases it all on presumptions...
He assumes the mark is a counterfiet seal. Which the bible doesn't say.
He assumes the mark is symbolic, Which the bible doesn't say.
He assumes the sabbath is still in effect, Which the bible not only doesn't say-it says the opposite.
He assumes that even though the bible says the sabbath was specifically given to Israel and there is no more Israel that we must still adhere to it.
He combines his assumption that the mark of the beast is a symbolic act of worship, that true christians adhere to the sabbath, and that the mark and seal are opposites into a belief that the mark is worshipping on the sabbath.

They will have, unknowingly, sold their souls to the Devil. I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. It certainly isn't Biblical. A person cannot "unknowingly" sell his soul to the Devil. What kind of God do you serve?? Peace, LJ

Peace, LJ If the ungodly were aware of the Devil and the fact that he was motivated by a desire to destroy them, they would heed the message of the Gospel and turn away from their sins. The Devil prefers them to remain ignorant of him and his devices. After all, if there's no place called Hell then there's no need of a Saviour. Christian.

Those Israelites who won't accept Jesus Christ as Lord will perish and the others shall spend eternity with Him. God will restore His original, chosen people called "Israel". Christian.
