I understand the pkmtyolpages, but am a little confused about why you posted them. then that is where we differ - amazingly moreso than i thought. you can quote that God can not send and yet, in Scriptures they talk of spirits some of God and some not. God does send spirits to help, prod, promote - whatnot and as long as they are speaking of God, of Christ - they are "of God" as we are told. to me God's "bride" would be Mary. a bride is female and in Godly mannerism's only a bride (which in turn is a wife) would be able to bear a child. Since Mary bore God's Child, Jesus, i would see her symbolically as His bride. The " bride of Christ " is His Church. DO you have any scriptures to back up what you are saying ? Could you please post them ?

There is only one church described in the New Testament as is seen in the following truths:
First, the church is the bride of Christ1) John the baptizer said, "He that hath the bride is the bridegroom" (Jn. 3:29).
Paul told the brethren that composed the church at Rome that they had "become dead to the law" and that they "should be married to another, even him who is raised from the dead."
To the church at Ephesus, Paul said ... Ephesians 5:23
Thus we learn that Christ is the husband and the church is His bride
There is just one husband and there is just one bride, Christ does not have more than one wife.
Secondly, Christ owns the church
Matthew 16:18 ... built one church
Ephesians 5:25 ... died for one church: Thirdly, the church is the body of Christ
Ephesians 1:22-23 ... church = the body
Colossians 1:18 ... church = the body
Ephesians 4:4 and 1 Corinthians 12:20 informs us that there is one body, thus there is but one church and that church is His BRIDE. That includes all Christians who serve and OBEY GOD the MASTER.
God Bless

andy and i had been discussing the Rcc and Marian apparitions. while i respect your above comments (btw thank you for your time) do you feel it's only a specific "church/denomination" or is it all Christian churches?
also, on the second - do you believe that God can send His people in forms of apparitions to the earth? that was the main discussion.
thanks for your time!

The church is made of all Christians, which is the body of Christ. So, no, it is not limited to a single denomination. Any denomination which follows the central tenets of Christianity (see the apostle's creed) would fall under the church, which is the body of Christ. CAN God send people in the forms of apparitions to the earth? Yes, he is all powerful. However, I do not believe that God sends apparitions today.
