Ok, Bush was re-elected. Four more years.
So, now what will happen?
No more political commercials, signs, people calling me (I live in Ohio, I'm sick of it!)

Ok, Bush was re-elected. Four more years. So, now what will happen? No more political commercials, signs, people calling me (I live in Ohio, I'm sick of it!) I live in Florida and was definately sick of it. I had 17 calls on election day alone reminding me to vote! Probably because there are five registered voters in my apartment, but that is still rediculous. I have also been averaging 5 phone calls each weekend for the past month, with 4 out of 5 coming from democrats. I have never been through an election like this! I am so glad that it is finally over.

My MIL is devastated. I'm left wondering why... She seems to believe the old cannard of "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" despite all the evidence to the contrary, including her own personal experience.
I'm with Ronda on this one. I feel much safer with Bush at the helm than I would if Kerry had won.
HAVING SAID ALL THAT... I really believe the loss was intentional to pave the way for the Hildabeast to run in 2008.
Blessings, LJ

Cute, cute!!
LJ
P.S., I can't imagine what a pain it was for those of you who live in "battleground" states. Where I live it's pretty cut and dried and we got calls anyway. Thank goodness it's over!!

hey come on -- some of the calls i actually "liked" - the one from GW himself, Laura & Barbara Bush, Arnold S., Sean Hannity and a couple others - they were pretty weird to come across.
one of my signs was a Re-Elect Bush Cheney '04 so... I doctored it up to read - Re-ElectED ...
oh phillip -- sorry if you're in Duval county - i was one of those calling you ; ) but we only called those on the list with an R.

In the South, all most every student is encouraged to take the SAT. In the Northeast, only those students with higher grades are encouraged to take the test. That's one of the big reasons how those states end up with much higher SAT averages than Southern states.
Besides, anybody who studies these things knows SAT scores haven't been that great a predictor of preformance in college anyway.
Scott
P.S. I'm a dumb Southerner who scored a 1490 on the SAT back in the pre-re-centered days. I was educated in Southern public schools and colleges. And I voted a straight Republican ticket.

Steve,
Between the two of us, we're smarter than the whole DNC!

People still take the SAT? I was under the impression that most colleges now want the ACT as it's a better test.
