Hi, Everyone! It's soo good to see everyone from the old board, and some new "faces" as well! This fine day, I am asking for your prayer support for my youngest daughter...some of you know her as Brat...she has the opportunity of a lifetime, to go to Washington, D.C. to pick up awards for and to qualify for scholarships for poetry. This trip will take place in August, the beginning total was 2000.00, so far we have raised 755.00, and we are running into a dry spell. We have asked quite a few folks to sponsor her, but as you can see, we are falling way short of where we need to be. Please pray that God will open the doors, that He will open our eyes to opportunities, and that she will be able to take this trip. Thank you, everyone....I really appreciate it. YSIC, ThemamaB

;D I will pray .
My 15 year old daughter went to Washington D.C. last year on a school trip and they had so much fun, My daugher also made all her own money, it was about the same $ 2,000.00. She did alot of baby sitting. She told me that she didnt want to have kids for a long time. ;D It will work out and you know you have alot of people praying for you. I'll put this on my prayer chain at church. Let us know, please.
In Gods Love, Kelly

I will keep her in my prayers this sounds wonderful for her! You said she is leaving in August. Would August 1st be to late to contribute? I am on Social Security - and have no funds until then. My fixed income doesn't allow much - but my God does. He always makes a way!!! Please either email or post and let me know. until then...God's blessings, Judah

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
This scripture came to me in prayer for your daughter. The part that stood out was - faint not. you are in my prayers, Judah

Lol, Judah! How wonderful is our God?? I just mentioned that I am a bit discouraged because we're hitting a bit of a dry spell for sponsors...but I'm convinced that if God didn't want her to go, we wouldn't have gotten so far...thank you for the confirmation that God is still in charge, and that I need to continue to bathe this in prayer, remembering that it needs to be all in His will. Praise God for His children lifting each other up in prayer! Much love,

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compkmtyolpions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Since the Lord's compkmtyolpions (and might I say mercies) are new each morning...
So should our compkmtyolpions be. So: new prayer for a new day!!! The times a gittin closer. I pray she is gathering. I can't wait to hear of God's wonders working here. I pray daily her need is met in Jesus name. amen.
