They have no respect for true Christians? How many true Christians do you see respecting each other? Would everyone knock it off with this """"they scare baby Christians off or lead them away"""""If anyone is guilty of that it's BBB and his followers, they have me questioning my faith and what I believe now, I don't want their God, I don't want to be anything like them, I have seen so many Christians lie on this board and say some pretty disgusting things and I end up so angry and hurt I LASH back at them, I don't even know what to believe anymore but I do know that the new agers have treated me with more respect then those christians I mentioned and they have never ever tried to lead me away, I am being pushed away by CHRISTIANS!!!!! Everybody says they came to this message board to fellowship with other Christians, then do it, don't talk to people that have different beliefs then you do. Nobody is forcing anyone to do that!!!! If you want to fellowship with true Christians then stick with Maranata, HITR, citizen, devil disturber, and I know there's others but I can't think of their names, hit the ignore button and ignore people. Even new agers have morals you know, just like us Christians, they might not all believe in the bible but I bet ya they believe in living the words of the bible, you know, as in the 10 commandments!!! Some of them even understand the bible and have glanced at it a few times Well said, Agape.

Besides the fact you have no CLUE about what all has been entailed in any conversations, nor what those sources may have said, or how they have offered their support, you are making false assumptions here billbo. For instance, you wouldn't know that one of the first things I told Shirley was that if she felt she needed to speak with a Christian, then I would like to recommend someone I knew would listen and not be judgmental. I also rpkmtyoleured her that the one she was already speaking to is a very good guy and would do those things too.
So you see -- you have no clue, and clearly you haven't been listening to her. Thankfully, there are several people in her corner who are and will continue to listen to her concerns and support her in any way we can. That's because we are more interested in the well-being of the person over everything else. This is not about YOU, or any of you -- it is about Shirley. We're doing our best to help with the limited information given. She posted here and we've tried to help and now you say we don't know the whole story? Well, duh! She didn't tell us the whole story. She told us part and we've done out best with what we were given.

Some of them even understand the bible and have glanced at it a few times I gotta agree with almost everything you said too. I've been ignoring them for at least a year. Some "christians" are simply cruel. I use to fight with them, but I gave up, seemed useless. This thread should not have any bickering in it. SJudy was told something that I believe is twisted, and I find it sad that she let that change her faith. Some christians do believe that Revelation is fulfilled, but it's not. They can twist scripture around to make it seem that way, but it still isn't true. I'm happy she's feels better, is getting to know herself, but why can't you do both? That's what I don't get.

I did quote the man and even reinterated the point in a later post. He said: "You have sought advice from the wrong sources, when you consult with people that do not believe in Jesus Christ's resurrection for our sins." Which is a blantant accusation and false assumption about conversations to which he has been not privy. It is very annoying when Christian's do this solely on the basis of a person's beliefs (their perception), and it's even more annoying when you give someone an honest answer and they just ignore it and don't listen.
As for the story....there are many things that Shirley has shared that should give you a good indication, but few are taking the time to really hear what she has been saying. Don't believe me? Review these post and see how many questions anyone has asked Shirley that isn't wrapped around their own beliefs and what they wish to hear. There are not very many. Even so, I could go back and pick out all kinds of things she has said that should tell you what she is experiencing and feeling.
I think you have been given quite a lot actually , but really it is up to Shirley to decide how much she wants to share. The best thing you can do to help and be supportive to her is to listen without some expectation. Hope that helps....

I have listened to Shirley in the past and tried to answer any questions that she might have. But anyone, I don't care who it is, who tells someone that the bible has been fulfilled (which it has not) is leading a Christian into darness. From the post that Shirley referred to I read it as: here she's believed that Christ is coming someday to take us all home....and lo and behold someone pops up and tells her "you might as well give up on that idea....cuz he's already done all that, he isn't coming again" I think that her "revelation" or "shattered soul" was an out and out lie to her and her immortal soul. This is exactly what Satan is trying to accomplish. Now she feels decieved and cheated. And truely she has been decieved and cheated not by God or Jesus, but by Satan's lies on this message board. Shirley, Please PM me....I would love to talk with you. Don't give up on your salvation. I will truely help you all that I can BIBLICALLY no religion to it. Your walk is with Jesus.....not with a particular church. RELATIONSHIP...not RELIGION!

Aslan's servant, please refer to the post I am responding to here. I don't understand why this would be so difficult to follow??? I did quote the man and even reinterated the point in a later post. It just HURTS, okay? I have already seen so many people become Christians and then very publically post about going back to their old life or starting the search again. Do you have any idea of the temptations ex-Witches face to go back? And so I have seen people go back more times than I care to count. And so I come here to relax a bit and have fellowship with other Christians away from concern about ministry or people leaving Christ, and in just a week or two I see two people here get up and leave! I know probably no one will believe me, but I've already seen more than I care to for a lifetime and each new one just rips out my heart anew. I know that's a "job hazard" when trying to pull people out of the dark, but that doesn't mean it hurts any less with each new person. In fact, I think it hurts MORE.

Hi Shirley, I would like to recommend a book to you because I noticied you said you like to read! The title is "Living Free In Christ" by Neal T. Anderson.I went through what you are going through now.Maybe not the EXACT situation but very similiar.Someone said something to me that just floored me and took away my security in my religious beliefs. But God has used this to show me that I need to fully rely on HIM and HIM alone. We get so hung up in the R's and D's of Christianity! RITES,RITUALS,and RELIGION! DOGMA,DOCTRINE and DENOMINATION! ALL of this is MANMADE..not GODMADE! God wants a RELATIONSHIP with us! PLEASE don't let anyone else drive you from God! If anything or anybody on this MB or any other has..please pray about it,okay? I will pray for you and your situation. hounddawg P.S.Think I'll go dig that book out of the bookshelf and re-read it!!!!! Take care!!!!!

OK, now I'm angry. For your information I have had MULTIPLE email conversations w/Shirley, to which YOU are not privy OK? MY POST HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU, so get off of my case already!
I stand by what I said. Advice from NON-CHRISTIANS about spiritual matters is USELESS. You are egging me on, trying to get me to act in an un-christian manner. I will not let you. I say it again:
Attack me all you like, I shall not waver & glady suffer persecution with & for my Lord & Saviour. Mathew 5:10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. John 15:20Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. Jeremiah 17:18Let my persecutors be put to shame, but keep me from shame; let them be terrified, but keep me from terror. Bring on them the day of disaster; destroy them with double destruction. Deuteronomy 30:7The LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you. Bill

And you want to tell me that Satan isn't running rampant on these message boards? You won't get to me because my faith in Jesus is stronger than anything Satan has to dish out!!!

Sorry, but your crying guilt trip won't work on me.
Must be a pity to sit there and dream up all kinds of things to make yourself sad and that have nothing to do with reality. Just more proof of false beliefs to those who know differently.

No one is laying a guilt trip on you. But if the shoe fits.... You wouldn't have reacted the way you did unless you KNEW what you were doing all along was wrong and now you are gloating about it.

Well, I figured you were acting too much like the cat who ate the canary for it not to have been you that got to Shirley. Contrary to popular beliefs, I speak to quite a few Christians behind the scenes outlawgirl. You do not itimidate me this because it's a farce. It's fake. You want to create fear of evil where none exist. Tsk, tsk, tsk.....only the insecure in their faith have a need for such deceptiveness.
I'd say it's pretty weak if you fear a threat where there is none.

More of your paranoia. Better watch -- you might end up with an ulcer churning all this nonsense. It's certiainly not healthy to lie to yourself like this, that's for sure.
