I NEVER SAID I DIDN'T BELIEVE IN GOD ANYMORE. In fact, I have always believed in God... But do you still believe in Jesus Christ?

But do you still believe in Jesus Christ? That's a good question. But it should be more like, "do you still belive in Jesus as your Lord and savour?"
SJudy, are you going from Christianity to something else? If so please dont. Jesus loves you and He is always there for you.
I'll be praying for you..
God bless you and keep you, in Yeshua Agape,Jenn

There is a song...that I have always loved...
You might like it, if you haven't heard it before:
It is by Incubus, and it is called DRIVE:
Sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear. And I can't help but ask myself how much I'll let the fear take the wheel and steer. It's driven me before, and it seems to have a vague, haunting pkmtyolm appeal. But lately I'm beginning to find I should be the one behind the wheel.
Chorus Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there with open arms and open eyes. yeah. Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there, I'll be there.
So if I decide to waiver my chance to be one of the hive will I choose water over wine and hold my own and drive? oh oh oooh. It's driven me before and it seems to be the way that everyone else gets around. But lately I'm beginning to find that when I drive myself my light is found.
Chorus Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there with open arms and open eyes. Yeah. Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there, I'll be there...
Would you choose water over wine.... hold the wheel and drive?
Chorus Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there with open arms and open eyes. Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there I'll be there
Dududuu Dududu Dududududu Tomorrow Dududududuu Dududuuu Dududu Dududududu Tomorrow...

Shirley, are you going to answer the question I asked and another expanded? So you still believe in Jesus Christ as the Risen Saviour?
My concern with what I am reading is that it is a "I will go down the road, seeing what comes, going MY way" kind of thing.
As a Christian, we should be following Jesus, letting Him light the way, and the Spirit guide our paths, and following the will of God for our lives.

I don't have an answer for you. At least not the one you want to hear. I am going MY way and letting the spirit lead. Thats the best I can say at this time.. I am not following doctrines and theologies and what man's interpretation of truth says I must do. I already explained this earlier. I must find what is Truth for me. I am doing exactly that. What I am doing in that regard is highly personal, however. I am not climbing back into the box of should's and shouldn'ts, can's and can'ts. Blessings, Shirley

Shirley, it sounds to me like you've been exposed to some pretty bad theology to have had such a reaction. I hope you find the guidance you're looking for. You are in my prayers.
Blessings, LJ

SJudy, If you don't believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savoiur, then you don't have the Holy Spirit leading you. If Christ lives in your heart, you can't hide that light under a bushel, It must shine for everyone to see. Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. You can't get to heaven any other way, but thru Jesus Christ. There is no other truth, none. Only Jesus.
