Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)
We serve a great and mighty God. He knows the end from the begining. He shows us what we need.
THE WHOLE DUTY...fear God and keep his commandments!!!
How wonderful this is for us to have a God that is alive.

Thank you so very much Cohdra. For your response was truly appreciated.
For some reason we as people tend to fly quickly to flaming threads but do not spend near the time on one as wonderful as God's word.
Your quiet gentle spirit reminds me of a lady from the old boards where I use to post - You are not by chance also named shiloh are you? just curious. you don't have to tell - but you could email me:) LOL
love to you and , again, thank you. your sister in Christ, Judah

Great thread My precious Sis; There are so many today who do not know the commandments of Jesus our God! "Love the LORD thy God with all your heart, soul, mind and Body and love thy neighbor as thyself!" What is required of the oh man. " Do justly love mercy and walk humbly with thy God!" When God's Children finally learn that Our Loving Father forgave ALL ALL ALL sin Past Present and future! and set you free from sin and free from guilt! He knew the sin I may commit tomorrow and already forgave me all I have to do is to thank Him for 1st John 1:9! And he has cleansed me from all unrightiousness! Hallaujah! I am glad that you are writing on the boards and Thank you for your love and Prayers. Your brother Dean ;D

oops i forgot to post my Scripture and hymn for ya all!!!
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
BECAUSE HE LIVES
BECAUSE HE LIVES I CAN FACE TOMORROW
BECAUSE HE LIVES ALL FEAR IS GONE
BECAUSE I KNOW HE HOLDS THE FUTURE
AND LIFE IS WORTH THE LIVING
JUST BECAUSE HE LIVES.
THERE WAS A MAN HIS NAME WAS JESUS
HE CAME TO DIE ; HEAL AND RESTORE
BUT GREATER STILL THE CALM ASSURANCE
WE CAN FACE UNCERTAIN DAYS
BECAUSE HE LIVES .
AND THEN ONE DAY I’LL CROSS THAT RIVER
I’LL FIGHT LIFES FINAL WAR WITH PAIN
AND THEN AS DEATH GIVES WAY TO VICTORY
I’LL SEE THE LIGHTS OF GLORY
AND I’LL KNOW HE LIVES .
REPEAT CHORUS TWICE :
BECAUSE I KNOW HE HOLDS THE FUTURE
AND LIFE IS WORTH THE LIVING
BECAUSE HE LIVES !

Excellent post! That pretty much says it all. God bless! I've read the posts up to this one and I agree with all of them, but you know I'm going to expand on the words written here. I've seen the post that says "love the Lord God with body, soul and spirit" etc, as though this is something new. It isn't. These are O.T. commands as well. King David wanted God's law written on his heart, so, the law being in the heart isn't anything new either. King David knew of this also. The important thing to remember is that the commandments written on the tablets were in effect at the same time as the "love...etc" verses were written. This tells me that the whole duty of man is to keep the written commandments as well, and if we love God the way the bible says we should, then the commandments written on the tablets will be written on the heart. This means ALL TEN, not just nine as some wish to believe, and that one can be changed around to suit the wishes of some. It always sounds good to say nice things everyone can agree with, but when it comes down to specifics, arguments arise. There were and are TEN commandments. it's good to remember that, and they still are as God wrote them on the tablets, not as men have changed them. There is no scripture or teaching calling for any of them to be changed.

I know that many of us don't take the time to respond to the nice, agreeable, pleasant posts, and I'm pretty guilty of that. When I take the time to really look around the boards, though, I stumble upon a gem of a post such as yours; I often reply just to let the poster know I read it. Your right; everything secret will be uncovered, good or bad God bless
