My parents drove my niece back to her apartment. She found a letter from her husband. He has cleared out. He claims he will send her money.
She is hurt and confused. Please pray that God's Will be done in this situtation.
Ronda
BTW, last weekend he got drunk and left her bruised.

Ronda,
It is a great thing to hear that she is not in the abusive environment anymore. I will pray for her and the kids. I'll also pray that husband gets the help that he needs.

While finding yourself suddenly alone and adrift is frightening, it sounds like your niece is better off without that guy. She's in my prayers! She is not alone!!
God bless, LJ

We made a lot of progress in getting things prepared for her and the babies to move in with me.
The Manager at the complex has already PROMISED me that if my niece's husband shows up drunk, he will be issued a criminal trespkmtyolp warning and not allowed on the property again.
He called my niece this evening claiming to be in Mobile ALA. for a new job......funny thing is, their neighbors saw him in town this morning. There is no way he got a job and drove from West Columbia, Texas to Mobile ALA in the space of time starting from when the neighbors saw him.
He is undoubtedly up to no good. I instructed her to double deadbolt her door. Once she's here, there are neighbors who will also "take care of business" if need be.
My life is about to change drasticly...........Little Jacy is 3 and Oceana is 1.

Has your niece gone forward towards securing a restraining order? That's the best way (IMHO) to keep the police involved in her protection.
You all remain in my prayers, especially you, Rhonda, since I've learned you will be opening your home to this family in need.
God bless, LJ

She says he only does it when he is drunk. God needs to get a hold of her husband in a big way. He is Bi-Polar and refuses to take his meds. He was raised in a cult........Unity Church of Christianity. Ronda

I tried to get her to go to the Courthouse....to no avail. She says he only does it when he is drunk. Certainly enough for a RO. Hopefully she'll find enough strength to do what she needs to to protect her babies. I am reminded of a story last summer in Memphis where a woman was waffling about a restraining order, had moved in with friends, and her creep of a husband found her, shot her and her two friends in front of their 7 year old son. This is not something to waffle about. Now I'm praying for strength!! Amen! Until He does, hopefully the police will! Even more evidence that she needs to take legal steps to protect herself so that the police can legally remove him and hold him in a cell should he show up drunk or otherwise a danger to her or the children. Please don't let up on her on this action!! Praying.... Praying.... Praying.... God bless, LJ

A bit more detail about that Memphis tragedy. Creep had shown up once and the police were called but they couldn't do anything because he hadn't broken any laws at the time. Of course when he sobered up he was lovey-dovey and promised to never be that way again. And he wasn't.... right up until he killed her.
Please, God, help this woman do what she needs to do so her children are safe.

Please also pray that God will open the gates of heaven to provide for our needs through His riches in Glory. Money is going to be really tight now until payday.
She has a commission coming from helping her mom in real estate.....just as soon as the current deal they have been working on closes. There are some problems with the Title company. Please pray that God will open doors no one and nothing can close for this sale to be finalized. Please pray that my cash supply will hold out till pay day in November.
Thanks,
Ronda
