So.....what are everyone's favorite authors? Of course Jenkins and Lahaye are among my favorites and some of you know I definitely like Tolkien. Michael Crichton is also one of my favorites and I have very much enjoyed reading several of his books: Jupkmtyolric Park, Time Line, Andromeda Strain, and Prey are among my favorites of his writings.

In this 21st Century the Age of Technology, we are still plagued by religious beliefs that are contributing causes toward terrorism, killings and wars between nations. Karen Armstrong, in her book "A History Of God", brilliantly researches and explores how various societies have used God to further their domination over others. In her book "Muhammad" Karen delves into the creation of the Islam religion and how it has affected other nations throughout history. Tolkien's #1 with me by a lot... I love Dave Barry, J.K. Rowling, Grisham, Asimov, Crichton (minus JP2 and Airframe), as well as the writings and ramblings of gurugurumaki, particularly his Guide to Exproiting the Pranes.
