Yes, I thought it was a good idea too. Even though technically he can't take these things, it just makes me feel better to have them in wayne's name. I am sickened by the whole thing.... Thanks for keeping me in prayer, I need it! ysic Lisa

Hi All Forgot to mention that the insurance monies he wants half of.... this is an insurance settlement that I have not even recieved yet. It is for a car wreck that I was in last year. I have been suffering bad back pain since then, many doctor appointments and my car was totaled. (I had a new Chrysler 300M) He was not even remotely involved in this. How greedy! Lisa

Lisa, what a trip! Since you were only married one month, he's not gonna be entitled to diddlysquat.
He'll leave with what he came with. Our office does divorces all the time, and Judges always consider the length of the marriage. He may have gotten half if you were married for 20 years, but not one lousy, deceptive, month.
Glad things worked out with you and Wayne, and am praying for your new beginning. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger
I LOVE THAT! Isn't that the truth? So many people know I am a christian and they ask me why God did this to them, to that to them, etc. I always say "WE DID THIS TO OURSELVES" We have a rotton thing called free will~~
I am soooo relieved he can't get anything. That would be the worst kind of injustice that I could think of. Even though I have had a lot of people tell me this, there is a little part of me inside that questions and says "yeah, but WHAT IF?"
It shows the greed of him. I am thanking my lucky stars it didn't last longer than a month, hee hee!
Wayne and I are still acting like lovebirds....life is wonderful and God has been so good to me.
Blessings Lisa

My prayers are with you Lisa. Also, may God use this experience to help you grow in faith. It is sometimes so hard to believe when you go through this sort of stuff, but sometimes the experience can make us more aware of the struggles of others and the obstacles they face, and we can use that empathy in our Christian walk. Remember that St. Paul spent time as a prisoner, and St. Peter was imprisoned in the most horrible conditions, without cause. Remember also that St. Paul was abandoned and in effect betrayed by some of those he had befriended. If it can happen to them, why should we think it cannot happen to us?

I think as christians we are tested even more. I try to maintain a good attitude no matter what is going on, still get up in the morning with a smile on my face. I have faith that God will help me with this. And I am so grateful for Him taking the bad and turning it to good. It is at these times I realize all over again how strong faith is and what can happen. God Bless, Lisa

Oh Lisa, I don't even have a name thats bad enough for a person like him, now your insurance money, unbelievable.
My ex is kinda going through the same thing, hes getting a divorce and his wife wants half of the money from the house that him and I owned together that just got sold. She had nothing to do with that house, ever, I told him today to sign it over to me, I don't think she is entitled to any of it but just in case.
My prayers are with you still, I wish there was something I could do to help you. Like you said, God is testing you, pkmtyolp the test and you wont have anything to worry about. I already know you will pkmtyolp it cause you is one sweet, smart lady.
Blessings, Deby
