I don't believe he's innocent, but I wouldn't be surprised if his upbringing was a factor in all this. He's a very sick person. I think that he has to be locked up.

Is there anyone who really believes he is innocent? Compguy I'm not sure, but that guy's reality has got to be seriously warped. No childhood to speak of, unrelenting fame and fortune, and the opinion of the world beating down on him.

I'm not sure, but that guy's reality has got to be seriously warped. No childhood to speak of, unrelenting fame and fortune, and the opinion of the world beating down on him. I'm not sure if a persons childhood is a factor. If we excuse crime because of how a person was raised up then we might as well open up all the prisons and let them all go. I'm sure 98% of everyone who has committed a crime has had something bad happen as a child. Are you watching the news about this case? The defense isn't putting up much of a fight as of yet. I'm sure they are going to try something but in light of all the proven facts presented in this case so far there don't seem to be any doubt. Compguy

Boy, oh boy, the longer this trial goes on, the more grossed out I get by Mr. Jackson. Like y'all said, we've always known he was a bit "off" but it appears he's crossed over from being a weirdo to being a criminal. It'll be interesting to see what the jury decides!
I agree with you, Compguy, that while a person's childhood can affect adult behavior, it isn't always the case and therefore shouldn't be an excuse for the ones who DO go astray of the law.
Blessings, LJ

Andy, Compguy and LJ, I agree 100%, his horrible childhood has got almost everythingh to do with his behavior, it should be taken into consideration on his behalf.
But it does not exscuse him.
Many thousands of people in this country, had a nightmare existance as children, but they didn't turn to crime, and they don't use the past as a reason to act like creeps. A great many of them do get some kind of help, either from pro. counselors, or help of some kind from family and friends, many even turn to God. They get through it.
But poor Michael, he is not mentally fit to stand trial, in my opinion. He has been beaten down for so long by family, & he has had EVERYONE in his life take major advantage of his talents for so long, just looking to make money from this cute kid, and Michael himself just didn't matter to them. They didn't care that he didn't get to even have a childhood. So what if he spent more time on stage than learning life skills.
What he has done to himself through surgery screams volumes about whats going on in his head. But yet not one single person in his family, or any of his business associates caught it. Or they did, and just didn't care. Too much money to be made I guess.
He should seek help and counseling, not little boys trying to relive his childhood through them, he doesn't understand that, ..... because no one taught him. And I really and truly wonder if he himself was sexually abused as a child. That would also explain the molestation.
He needs lots and lots of PRAYER, And some time in a mental facility.
