Hiya Steve-o! This isn't quite what I am working on - I deal more with methane. However, this is certainly an interesting new application for a plentiful waste source! The University of Illinois is basically home to the #1 environmental engineering program in the world. It's where my advisor and his advisor came from, so luckily I benefit from some good academic genes (lol). My work could be along these lines, however I am more likely to use a biological means (aka bacteria or archaea) to do the work. Thanks for posting this! I'm going to be digging a little deeper into this topic. Bob
