I'm a christian, If I were to write something secular, would it be frowned upon?

I don't think you would be. Look at JRR Tolkin, he was a Christian that wrote to a secular audiance.

There are many subjects which I think are considered "nuetral" subjects. They are not Christian and they are not evil. I think it's the same with music, movies, etc. Some are not Christian and some are not evil, they just are.

I agree that it depends on whatever the subject is. For example, a fictional story about how a trans-national financial criminal group is caught by cooperations between various nations' police may not involve any explicitly Christian characters in it at all (well, it is possible to set a Christian as the overall protagonist and the leading police investigator of the case - but it is not absolutely necessary).
YBIC,

What better way to witness to a secular audience than by writing characters that adhere to Christian morals? But then again, if you have a character adhering to Christian morals and leave Christ out, is that a cop-out?

a fiction story with christian morals probably wouldn't go over well with the majority of unbelievers.

I'm a Christian, and I've written several "secular" stories. Haven't felt bad, yet. But that's me rambling.

Am I dredging up an old topic or what? ;D Have I been published? I wish. The answer's no, unless you consider being in the school's literary journal being published.
My "crowning achievement" is a novella about 200 pages long, still being edited. I'll probably be looking for a publisher soon, though.
