It seems that many of the members who frequent this board do not appear to visit the prayer forum. I have come to this conclusion by the number of hits that each prayer post has as opposed to the hits on posts in other forums.
It would seem that some would rather argue than pray for their brothers and sisters in Christ.
Instead of worrying about animal vs animal, insteading of arguing about evolution and the like.......why aren't we getting about the work of God and praying for others.
There is a post in the prayer forum about someone's father dying. Sad that the majority here doesn't seem to care enough about praying for others to even bother visiting. THe view counters tell the tale.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
We also know we are to pray for each other. The limited hits in the prayer forum are a symptom of a larger problem.
James 4:17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.
We KNOW we need to pray for each other. Looking at the number of active people on this board, there are serval who don't appear to be visiting the prayer forum at all.

Sad to say this still has not changed since the original post was made.
There are still those who could care less about praying for others.......I could name names, but then that would be tasteless and tacky.

Gee, I don't know if I agree, Ronda... the read counts on the Prayer forum are a lot higher than the read counts on most threads in the Fellowship forum. Plus, just because a person doesn't respond doesn't mean s/he isn't praying.
Be of good cheer. I have felt the power of the prayers myself.
Have a blessed day! LJ
P.S., How's your niece making out?

LauraJean -
"the read counts on the Prayer forum are a lot higher than the read counts on most threads in the Fellowship forum."
Priceless.
