I have a dear friend/sister with some serious "issues" at this time. I have spoken to her about all is she is aware - she's also aware i'm bringing my Scripture plight here so - i'm NOT talking behind her back....
My sister is Saved and was actually very instrumental in making me realize and showing me how to have a more here and now relationship with Christ. My sister is NOT living as a true daughter of Christ....
I have heard that there was a pkmtyolpage in the bible that talks about those who have Christ and have opted to shun Him are "attacked" by the demons seven fold. It's difficult to explain but basically that Christ is our strength and while He is kept beside us, the demon's try but can not succeed. However when we shun Him the demons see the opportunity and start in with e vengence 1) so they can get us and 2) so they can "pull on over" on Christ.
I'm desperately trying to locate something of this nature in the bible. I've tried a couple on line services. but have not had any luck as my system is so slow and my internet savvy is well below par.
any help would be greatly appreciated - or any scripture similar. also, it's hard for me due to my cruddy computer to access this board that often so please understand if my replies ar enot swift. God bless & keep you!!!!!

Hi, Marysia!
I have to confess, I have never heard of anything of the sort in the Bible. In fact, one of my favorite verses says almost the opposite: RO 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But just out of curiosity, I checked my fairly good computer Bible search function with as many words as I could think of that might encompkmtyolp your desired pkmtyolpage. Again I came up empty.
I have a great concordance (a gift from a Sunday School cpkmtyoll I had taught) and will check there, (It's huge so it will take some time) but do you have any words or phrases from the pkmtyolpage that might narrow the search for me?
Frankly, the concept seems so totally juxtaposed to just about everything I read in the New Testament that I'm inclined to think your source may be extra-Biblical. In the meantime, James might be helpful: JAS 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
JAS 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder.
Good luck with your search!
Blessings, LJ

HI LJ -- thank you so much for taking the time to help me out with this. I too had not heard my original request which is why i sought help here! I will conceed that it IS probably someone interprutation. THank you again for your time and effort. Funny, I have "used" James often on this board with Genesda in the past yet I forgot how wonderful it would relate to my friends situation!
God bless & Keep you!!! Marysia

I know I'm about six monthe late but what comes to mind is Mattew 12:
43"When an evil[f] spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation."
