Question?? How long are you going to keep them on the list? Untell they say to take them off, or just keep them on forever? Just wondering how you were going to work that part out. I know some people dont get back to us and tell us how they are doing, I'm sure we can still pray for them but as this grows and time goes on what about request from a long time?? I have alot of prayer so just wondering. In Gods Love, Kelly Good question. I have been keeping somewhat track for myself. Though now that I am to actually manage - I will have to get idea from Michele and Brother Dean - any suggestions would be welcome. We do need to have something in place. Thanks. ysic, vada

Ok, I have one more... This one has been a BIGGIE for me for some time....and well, FINALLY it appears that it will happen. I have been separated from my husband for nearly two years, and we were unable to come up with money for a divorce, for the lawyer, court fees, etc. I finally found a place online to get the proper format for the divorce papers, AND, even better, a "Petition for a waiver for the fees" so I filed for the divorce, for $0.00!! All seemed well, until when we went to file, they insisted that we also had to take a parenting course that is required by the state of Indiana. Personally I have no problem taking the course, except that I don't have tranportation, children aren't allowed there (and we have four...all together..) AND the course costs $45.00 per parent, meaning it will cost $90.00 (the court fees that the concluded we were too poor to pay for were ONLY $105.00!!). So we didn't take the course, and the final court date is tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM. Please pray that this divorce will not be held up any longer, and that SOMEHOW the judge will either forego the cpkmtyolles or find a way for us to attend AFTER the divorce at no cost to us. This has all dragged on long enough, and quite frankly...I want my name back!! ;D So keep me in your prayers, and I will post back tomorrow morn and let you all know what happens. Shiloh, you are still in my prayers, and if you EVER need someone to just talk with ... (not on the phone, since I don't have one, and you don't want anyone to hear ya crying anyway.. I am on MSN messenger whenever I am at the computer... my signon there is "mook2357" as well. Thanks, Jen. Prayer really does move mountains - and with all the prayer that has been going up on my behalf lately, I finally have a little bit of good news to report. We heard from the P.D.'s office very late yesterday afternoon, and were told that we do qualify for a Public Defender, but that we had to wait until we got the official court paperwork before we could make an appointment with them. That was expected to take 7 to 10 days...but guess what? It came in this morning's mail! So now, first thing Monday morning, we get to call and schedule the appointment with our attorney. His name is Michael Anderson, and the prayer request now is for his dedication and belief in us, and his wisdom and skill in the courtroom. So with that, a HUGE burden has been lifted off our shoulders - praise God from whom all blessings flow! Also we went to talk with our pastor yesterday, and he reminded me very gently to keep my eyes upon Jesus and NOT to look into all the future "what-if's" because that is exactly what the enemy wants us to do. He sees this very much as a spiritual warfare thing, and that God would not have allowed us to go through this if He did not consider us worthy. Agreed... but this is one of those times I kind of wish God didn't find us quite so worthy...lol... How is your situation going, Jen? Divorce is never easy, even when there is truly no alternative - been there, done that! At least I only had one child at the time - you've got four!! You will be in my prayers. Your sister in Christ, Debbi

I would just like to remind everyone to please keep my church in prayer over the next month as Church In The Park begins this coming Sunday and runs through the month of August. For those who missed my original thread I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have, but many of you are already familiar with this ministry through being familiar with me. In my signature is listed the church's website address where you'll find more information on Church In The Park. From the bottom of the home page, just click on Church In The Park and you'll see the page. A couple ways the Lord is already working things out: my pastor's wife noticed this past week that although Chiz Rider had been advertised to go on at 3:00 on the 17th, her letter to him read 4:00. In a panic, she called to see what could be done. She thought she'd try to act nonchalant about it, so she just asked the secretary or whoever what time he planned on performing. The lady replied, "well, your letter has him going on at 4, but he had a cancellation that morning and was wondering if it was okay if he performed at 3:00 instead." Also, we've been trying to convince the other churches in our area to lift their services and come together with us on the 17th, which is the day we have our service downtown instead of in the park, and where we plan to introduce a written proclamation that Jesus is Lord of Bradford, and Satan no longer has any authority here. So far, only three other churches have decided to join us, but one of them is a church that has a contract with the local radio station to broadcast all their services. That day, they have asked the radio station to broadcast our Church In The Park service so that everyone listening to their radios that morning will hear the Gospel, and hear the proclamation and prayers which will be said for the city. Please keep praying for Church In The Park - for the hearts of those who need to hear the Gospel, for those who will be coming to minister, for our little church that's battling shut-off notices from utility companies to be able to pay for this, and for strength for all the workers, most especially our pastor, as this is very draining on him, both physically and mentally. For a full schedule, see the website if you'd like to pray each week specifically for what's happening that week. Edited for a typo.

There are so many to post where do I begin? 1--My sister-in-law is going away, she's been called to the reserves and may be gone longer than 5 months and is a mother of two young children. Update(7-29-03) She is definitely leaving for at least 8 months. 2--A co-worker caught her husband cheating on her, they also have two small children, and another co-worker also has a spouse who no longer lives with her but with his mistress for the last 2 years, they need this issue resolved. Update(7-29-03) Co-worker is planning to move out Sunday night while hub. is at work. She fears for her safety due to some suspicous remarks he made. The other co-worker's hub. has finally filed for divorce, it looks like it might turn messy. 3--I have a thread should I cruise or stop and..... I am really confused about my husband, the thread explains as best as I can. Update(7-29-03)He is doing a little better, but not by a lot. 4--my younger brother, whom I haven't spoken to in about 2 years, was caught with drugs. He is not being honest with my parents about what really happened and I believe this could be very very serious. I don't want to see them hurt or lose any money, they have enough problems as it is. (New 7-29-03) Uncle is sick in hospital, wife won't let family see him--really stressing mom out. These are the most pressing and I don't expect you to pray on all of them, just know that I would appreciate any efforts more than you'll ever know. I probably won't be often now that i have returned to work. Just some updates. And thanks for your prayers and support.

Thanking you all in advance for your prayers....... Love you all, YSIC, Heart2Heart Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus and ask a special prayer this night for Jim that you keep him safe. Put a hedge of protection around him and bring him home safely. I also ask for his well-being Lord that you would meet every need and give him extra care in his surroundings.
I ask this for the others also Lord that are over there putting their lives on the line for our freedoms. Give all your divine protection as each is in peril.
I come before you Lord Jesus for Jim's salvation. He needs to see that you are the God that can save. Allow the experience he is going through Father to draw him close to you - and even right now that you would touch him with your Spirit and flood him with your love that he might turn to you. When he does turn to you, surely he will repair his relationship with his wife and children. I am thankful they are still friends and can communicate.
Comfort him with the comfort that only you can give.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Thank you Father for being our God that we can turn to you in our time of need. I pray in Jesus name. YSIC, Vada
