Beliefs SDA have in common with the Baptists. I got this from a book. Let me know if its wrong concerning Southern Baptists.
(1) The Bible as the only rule of faith (2) Salvation by Grace alone (3) The Godhead (4) The fact of Jesus second coming (5) Baptism by immersion (6) Separation of church and state
Some Major doctrinal differences
(1) The secret rapture (2) The immortality of the soul (3) eternal torment (4) once saved always saved (5) Sunday sacredness (6) The law done away with in Christ
I regard the above differences as unbiblical.
Roger Williams (1603-1683) (First Baptist Pastor in America): Pastor Williams spoke of the Pope as "the pretended Vicar of Christ on earth, who sits as God over the Temple of God, exalting himself not only above all that is called God, but over the souls and consciences of all his pkmtyolvals, yea over the Spirit of Christ, over the Holy Spirit, yea, and God himself...speaking against the God of heaven, thinking to change times and laws; but he is the son of perdition (II Thess. 2)." The Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers, by Froom, Vol. 3, pg. 52.
Your church believed as we do. that the Office of Pope is the Antichrist.

Dearie,
You seem to be unaware that there are many Baptist denominations.
Southern Baptist American Baptist Independent Baptist Missionary Baptist.....
probably more that I don't know of/can't think of this early on a Saturday.
And Baptists don't take the ramblings of someone like Ellen White whom suffered some sort of head injury as gospel.

You might not listen to EGW but you do listen to the ramblings and false teachers. Instead of making cheap shots at the SDA why dont you pic a topic and debate it with me? We can begin with this if you want to. - Sunday is NOT the Lord's day mentioned by John in Rev 1:10. The expresion "Lord's Day" was not used to mean sunday until the end of the second century. 100 yrs after John. There is absolutely no usage of that expression to mean sunday prior to that.

Does this really need to be bumped? Are you just trying to incite more hostility?

Were you saved to rant on about it and to tell all non SDA Christians that they are following false doctrines? What makes you so sure that you are right about everything you have been spouting? Christian.

Christian. Because we have to warn people against receiving the mark of the beast/Papacy. The three angels messages of Revelation 14:6-12 are God's final warning to the world. The SDA church preaches those messages. If i have wrong beliefs then show me from scripture.

Trust them to divert attention from the website by rambling about the Pope.
