Lets maintain a respectful attitude, shall we? Even if we have to fake it. Otherwise posts may be edited, deleted, or the thread could be locked.

Oh I don't think LJ had any difficulty knowing what I meant, and you genesda are making inadequate and mistaken quesses about my intent based on your presumption that I don't know LauraJean. Ohhhh...is that what you call what you have? Intelligence? Really?! Imagine that? How foolish and behind the times I must feel compared to such a shining example of intellect such as yourself. BTW, what truth would that be? That the human race is disgusting, wicked, and perverted? Hum? The rest of your post is YOUR typical blah, blah, blah and thus I only made it about two sentences before I got boared and stopped reading. Ta ta...... ;D

You're only now coming to that conclusion? I put him on "ignore" long ago because he has nothing useful to say. Entertaining his insults is foolish. He needs to go to "moveon.org" where he has friends who spew the same biased hatred that he does.
You're pretty good at the biased hatred yourself, Gene. ;D

I posted more than two sentences of truth. You seem to wish there were other truths but sorry, there is only one.
There is an ignore option. Since you find my posts so boring, why not use it?

Nah....you are a "wild" woman at heart....LOL!! I guess I'd characterize his message as SO exaggerated and often such a "goodie two shoes" who loves to wag his finger that ultimately....I find him very disingenuous. Great to see you too!!!! \ "Disingenious" is a word that is used these days to avoid calling someone a liar. Rush doesn't lie. He supports his commentary with facts. His web site is full of facts from sources which the partisan media seems to ignore. The booming economy has been referred to as a "secret". I wonder who's not reporting on the booming economy that it remains a "secret"? Why, it's no other than the partisan media who sees a booming economy as helping Bush, so they just don't report it, while Kerry lies and compares the economy to the depression. Who's really disingenious, Rush or the media and the Democrats?

You're pretty good at the biased hatred yourself, Gene. ;D such as?
You don't exactly come off as warm and receptive to those who disagree with you. You claim that anything that you don't agree with to be a lie and I would feel safe assuming that you don't like even one Democrat aside from Zell Miller who should just leave the party since he isn't a true believer in it's causes and views anyway. I don't debate issues with you anymore because you refuse to even consider the possiblity you might me wrong from time to time.

Don't forget, Gene also believes in shipping Americans overseas (those who profess the Islamic faith). Now isn't that a total breach of on the Constitution. He also would like to NUKE all muslim countries and those americans he shipped over. That is called genocide! It's also called HATE. So basically Gene has admitted to supporting Genocide on a very large scale. And this coming from a Christian?

You don't exactly come off as warm and receptive to those who disagree with you. So, that equals hatred in your mind, right? You claim that anything that you don't agree with to be a lie and I would feel safe assuming that you don't like even one Democrat aside from Zell Miller who should just leave the party since he isn't a true believer in it's causes and views anyway. Did you ever consider that Zell Miller is a true old time Democrat and not a left wing nut case that the Democratic party has come to embrace? I don't debate issues with you anymore because you refuse to even consider the possiblity you might me wrong from time to time. I'm not wishy washy in what I hold dear. My convictions are strong for what I believe in. When I'm proven to be wrong, I admit as much. What ytou call debate is accusations that have no bearing in truth, but just ideas of what you believe to be truth. I'm not saying you're lying, but just not looking at things from a perspective of what's good for America because you're only looking in the mirror and only see your situation. I don't believe there's been one instance where I've complained about something that affected myself alone. What's good for America is good for me, even if there's something that doesn't suit what I'd like it to be. I'm not selfish. I'm not envious of the rich. It doesn't benefit me for my rich neighbor to have the results of his labor stolen by raising his taxes.

That's far from true. If I was looking a mirror and only supporting what's good for me I'd be in the GOP all the way. I am was blessed to have parents who loved me and made sure I would never have to worry about anything financially, but I know that most people aren't as lucky and need helping hand from time to time. I believe in progressive causes not because they benefit me, but because they help others have been wronged or treated as second cpkmtyoll citizens. If I was looking in the mirror to decided my political convictions I'd have one of those "W" stickers on my car instead of a John Kerry one.

"Disingenious" is a word that is used these days to avoid calling someone a liar. I also know that we will probably not be getting any salary increases this year due to the effect THIS current economy is having on the industry I work for. FACTS of this economy going to heck don't lie to those of us who are effected by them!

So, how much do you use as deductions on your income tax? You really don't have to answer this but if you really were really concerned about the welfare of others you would be poor.
What you really mean is that you want everyone else to pay for your ideas of charity. You want people in government who will take from my family and everyone else's families to give it away to others.
That's communism.
It should be left to me as to what I want to donate to the needy, NOT YOU and others who think like you. I'm not rich and I payed more of a percentage of my income in taxes than KERRY'S WIFE who has an estimated $7000,000,000.
All of these benevolent programs that Kerry is proposing have to be paid for and it won't be paid by the likes of Kerry or you. The money will come from those who really can't afford them.
You liberals are liberal with what everyone else has while hanging onto your own by whatever means you can.

Sorry you're having such a hard time, but the same indicators that called the Clinton years a "boom" are saying the economy is now better under this administration. That's not bad considering the shock the economy had with the Clinton recession and after 9/11 and the Democrats attempts to stop everything Bush wanted to do to get it going again sooner. In case you haven't figured it out yet, a bad economy is good for Kerry. That's the reason the partisan media is NOT REPORTING the boom that is happening as we speak. You might say we have a good economy INSPITE of the Democrats.

I personally have not accepted any of the tax rebates that have come as a result of the the Bush Administration nor do I deduct charitable donations from my taxes. I can afford to pay my share, I should pay more than someone who isn't as fortunate. Simple as that. I can pay a much higher percentage in taxes and still be fine so why shouldn't I if it helps those less fortunate?
