Wow! IAmLight - good to see ya, buddy. ;D And you! What's happening??? Just busy as all heck with my research/studies. I'm juggling several projects at once, all of which, I am happy to say, are what I would consider "meaningful" contributions to society. Much more so than my previous career in the steel and foundry industries. Instead of making parts for overpriced cars, or fielding a complaint from a customer about rust on their $5000 refidgerator, I am actually working on stuff that could (gasp!) help people. One of my projects could yield inexpensive wastewater treatment for everyone around the world. This could help tremendously with mortality rates (especially infants) in developing countries. The first key to health is clean water. The other main project has developed a molecular biology method that could dramatically change any process that involves microbes. It could be a boon to water treatment, food production, medicine, etc. So - busy busy. But happy and glad I made the transition to this new stage of my life. I should be done with school in about a year and a half I think. Good times. Let me (and the rest of us) know how you are doing!

Bob, your research sounds fascinating! Keep at it... thanks to people like you, no matter where they live, folks won't have to struggle for fresh water too much longer!!
IAL, gosh it's been a long time. Nice to see you! Still travelling to the four corners of the world? How are things?
Blessings, LJ
