Keikikoka,
Israel is still God's chosen nation. They were spiritually blinded during the time of Christ, so that we gentile believers could be saved by faith in Him who went on to be crucified and gloriously resurrected for our sakes, and theirs. If the Israelites had known their Saviour, do you think they would have had Him crucified? And what do you think would have happened to us Gentiles?
Happy New Year, Christian.

Galatians 3 26For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.

I2AM4AndyChristianOmega7-11 - "I've finished with the evolution nonsense."Heard it before, I'll believe it when I see it. --TDv2.0 1:4:9 All right Traff, why don't you give it a rest and at least give him the benefit of the doubt. You can rub it in his face if he does start arguing evolution again, but for now, how about just take him at his word that he is done with the subject? Take the high road.

Keik', Israel is still God's chosen nation. And in the "end times" the nations of the World will militarily turn against her for this reason. The God of this World, Satan, wants Israel to be destroyed, but instead the Lord, her God, will come to her rescue and wipe them out. Why don't you read the Book of Revelation and the Book of Daniel? Happy New Year, Christian.

I would like to see love..for everyone..
"What world needs now, is love, sweet love..."
Reading some of the threads and posts here has left me frustrated. I'd like to see people use their minds..and come up with something original rather than spouting the party line.
I'd like to see my children happy and living productive lives.
I'd like to be happy and living a productive life.

So basically the verse I posted and the countless others in the new testament are wrong? The verse you just posted has been misapplied. It has got nothing to do with the fact that the Israelis are God's chosen people. We gentile followers of Christ have been grafted onto the vine which is, figuratively speaking, our Lord Jesus Christ. 2000+ years ago, He was born into this World as a Jew. When He returns, He will rule from Jerusalem. So I think it's safe to say that He hasn't finished with Israel. Like I said in my last post to you, read the Books of Revelation and Daniel. Got a question for you: Is the verse you just quoted to be regarded as being literally true, figuratively true, or spiritually true? I believe that it is spiritually true, in the sense that God's people are of every race, nationality, are male and female, slave and free. And though there is no true equality between us in this life, in the life to come we will all enjoy equal status before the Lord our God. The old order will have pkmtyolped away. Christian.

Would you mind posting the bible verses that accompany your beliefs?
Ephesians 2 11Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "Uncircumcision" by the so-called "Circumcision," which is performed in the flesh by human hands-- 12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, 15by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, 16and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.
Do you realize that your interpretation is that this verse is literally true except for the part that disagrees with your preconcieved notions?
I take this verse just as it is: there is no Jew or Greek.
