I would love to see Osama Bin Laden captured. That would be awesome.

I don't see an end to the conflict in Iraq anytime soon. A friend's husband will be shipped over soon. I would like to see the rebels stopped.

I hope with a new Secretary of Education......a person who has ACTUALLY logged some recent cpkmtyollroom time iirc.....that we will see some positive changes.

I would like to see a return to Holiness in this nation.....but that's not likely to happen.

According to Noah Webster (who was a born again Christian by the way), "holiness" is defined as:

"The state of being holy; purity or integrity of moral character; freedom from sin; sanctity.

Applied to the Supreme Being, holiness denotes perfect purity or integrity of moral character, one of his essential attributes.

Applied to human beings, holiness is purity of heart or dispositions; sanctified affections; piety; moral goodness, but not perfect.

3. Sacredness; the state of anything hallowed, or consecrated to God or his worship.

4. That which is separated to the service of God."

I'm sure AuntRonda's definition is something close to this. For a more definitive definition of holiness, and to see holiness in action, please consult a Holy Bible, namely the four gospels, where you can learn about the three-year ministry of The Lord Jesus Christ, who is, was and shall always be, holiness personified.

I would like to see even a single young Earth creationist present even single shred of evidence to support their model that stands up to scientific scrutiny.

And since that won't happen,

I would like to see even a single young Earth creationist examine any of the pieces of evidence I have presented and present a critique as thorough as those I have given for their claims.

First off, it isn't nonsense because there isn't a shred of evidence in existence contrary to evolutionary theory. Don't believe me? There's two active threads, over 2,200 posts total, without any such evidence being presented. Secondly, what I wrote was in no way hijacking the thread, since those things are things that I have said several times that I would like to see.

Israel was God's chosen people and he dealt with it directly. However the United States is not God's chosen people. So why should God treat it as a whole?
