Rock and I wonder whether they lead to Hades.
Your opinions are sought regarding these strange phenomena.
God Bless, Andy.

Philip,
It's good to see that you haven't completely abandoned these boards. I'm not any more confused than you are. I'm just curious to know why the above exist, and don't give me unproven theories which you then insist are somehow true. I got enough of that with Traffic...
I've got some questions for you:
1. Do you believe that supernatural curses exist?
2. If so, do you believe that they can result in the loss of human life, therefore sending lost souls to Hell?
3. Are there actual routes by which people enter Hell, for example the Bermuda Triangle and/or black holes?
I don't believe that we really understand these strange phenomena. So we come up with theories to try to explain them away.....
Andy.

The fact that you are unable to grasp this very simple concept proves that you have no business making any statements about science.

Heathen,
Your definition of theory sounds alot like the shifting sands of a desert to me: "we come up with theories that describe the facts as we know them" ? Well, either we know the facts or we don't. And I have as much right to comment on science as you. Don't like that? Tough!
God Bless and Shalom, CJ86

1. Do you believe that supernatural curses exist? Yes, actually I do. 2. If so, do you believe that they can result in the loss of human life, therefore sending lost souls to Hell? They have control over non-believers, and so if they result in a non-believer's life lost, then I suppose, yes, the end result could be a non-believer goign to hell. This does not mean that they are a portal into hell. No more a tornado, or a lightning bolt, or six inches of water are portals to hell. 3. Are there actual routes by which people enter Hell, for example the Bermuda Triangle and/or black holes? No way. The only way to hell is by being sent there by God for lack of salvation. That is the only way. You have seen a bit too much science fiction. I don't believe that we really understand these strange phenomena. So we come up with theories to try to explain them away..... Andy. The bermuda triangle is a mix of hapenstance, superstitions, and yes, possibly even some spiritual influence. However, historians believe that many of those ships that sank (and they were mostsly ships), weren't anything more than pirates in the area. That area was prime ground for pirates. As for black holes, nobody has so much has gotten near a black hole, so nobody has actually been killed by one. We only just recently have sent a probe out of solar system. The whole idea of black holes being able to transport people to hell, or across the universe, is a matter of science fiction, not science theory. A black hole is a core of super dense matter that results from the gravitational field after the collapse of a star.

Philip,
I have only occasionally watched science fiction in recent years as I got rid of my TV three and a half years ago. But I have been watching the current series of Doctor Who at my fiance's home. She intends to give up watching TV too. We have noticed that TV has in recent years become less healthy to watch. Dr. Who has become darker and more sinister and even included material of an occult nature - a werewolf, dragons and other demonic looking creatures were featured. This isn't appropriate family viewing.
Rock told me she had heard in the news about a black hole that had mysteriously appeared, the existence of which the scientists cannot explain.
She and I came up with our theories about black holes and the Bermuda Triangle independently of one another. Coincidence? Possibly. Still, they do say that great minds think alike. ;D
God Bless, Andy.
