So to the "old timers", the troopers, the die-hards -- i have to tell you all - it hasn't been the same since our illustrious Genesda has left the floor. He could be quirte challenging at times but have to say - i miss debating with him (most of the time). no matter what - he sure made me open my bible and research a lot more!
anyway, just had to share!

Interesting person indeed, not someone I miss so much though. Very partisan, brought some things out in me I am not proud of. Ah, well.

YSIC, marysia One of the best ways to learn is to argue, isn't it. Your emotions get stirred and you eagerly dig into the research. If only we could do it with civility and stay far from personal attacks. I love to argue and on the internet we can read a post, get shook up, look something up and then post the best response we can muster and wait for a reply. The cycle continues on and on. If only we could admit when we are wrong or at least have no solid support for our belief. Genesda was way out there. Protestant was much more rational and a greater challenge to debate. Both were a bit too arrogant and that triggered my wrath.

gene was out there and often brought out a side of me i would step back look at and say - WOW. but for me that was good. i would read what i'd write adn thing -- whoa, that's not right, calm down, say a prayer and thing again. at first i didn't like his continual (becuase I'm Rcc) - show me in Scripture - but ya' know, until he challenged me - i never had a pkmtyolpion for Scripture. a good argument is a learning tool! no matter what, i do miss him - things were much more lively here then

I hate not knowing i do agree! funny how people can come to care about one another in this type of anonomyous setting. while he and i bantered and bickered, if he'd needed something i could have provided - yeah, it'd be his for the asking! anwyay.... prayers are all we can offer at this time so - they are for him and his!

I don't know if anyone noticed, but his e-mail was in his profile. I sent him an e-mail letting him know we were concerned and praying. Hopefully we will hear back.
