And, perhaps you misunderstood what I was saying....! I feel that a good debate or discussion is certainly worthwhile and we can all learn from each other. But, the impression you leave is that if one doesn't believe EXACTLY the way that you do, then they are wrong. Remember, that there are a lot of false prophets out there and many interrupretations. I did not state that you were "wrong", you just come across like you are beating people over the head about just how right you are.
Sorry, I'll never be accused of being diplomatic. Sometimes the straight truth does sound harsh, but that's just me.
Most believe they are right: Catholic's, Mormon's, Jehovah's Witness's, and so on.
Of course they do or they wouldn't belong to a particular denomination. The fact is that the churches you mentioned all teach a distorted form of God's commandments. If you don't think His word is particular, that's O.K., that's on you. I believe God meant what He said and wrote.
I find some credibility, to a point, in most people's belief's.
So do I, but why should I wade through their errors to find a glimmer of truth? I've been to many churches as I grew up and I now know how to distinguish truth from error.
Do I believe that "one" of them are absolutely, no doubt about it, right? NO, I'm afraid that I don't, and that is my choice. We all have choices.
You're absolutely right.
I hope that the choices I make are good one's.
Yes, so do I and choices should be made according to what is right as God gave us the direction to walk in.
I believe, to better believe in what Christ has taught and to believe with all my heart,
Again, you're absolutely correct. Now comes the decision part. If you believe that the pagan Sunday is a holy day, then you are taking someone's word over the scriptures because there is absolutely nothing in the scriptures calling the Sunday anything other than a work day.
than to take one organized religion's "interrupretation" and state that there is no other way except what they teach.
Only if it can be shown that a certain Christian denomination is really correct. There is a church that teaches biblical truth without the worldly influences being considered.
I won't be a hypocrite and only take out of it what I believe and leave the rest alone.
Reading your post's; I'm sorry to say, sounds like a used car salesman screaming at you that they are the only one's that can sell you the best car.
Nope! You take confidence as "screaming" because the truth is affecting you, I hope. I'm confident in what I believe and have not seen anything to change my mind.
I pray that we can come to some kind of terms here, as I do not send any post in anger.
neither do I.
But, I am a person and indivdual, God created, and I nor anyone else should be subjected to a "soapbox" dialog. No one likes for someone to tell them that they are totally wrong, and they are the only one's that are right. Even you don't like it.
This is where you're wrong. I'll take correction if it can be shown that I harbor a false belief. Many take certain scriptures out of context to support their false claims. No one scripture should ever determine a doctrine. The whole bible should be used and the O.T. should be the guide to understanding the N.T. In many churches it is the other way around. The N.T. guides the beliefs of the O.T. as if the O.T. doesn't matter any more.
As a Post Script, I do not believe that the Left Behind Series is the Gospel. Interesting reading is all. I get the strange feeling that you believe that some who read it seem to think so. Take Care and God Bless.....YSIC..Edwina
Edwina, many do consider that series as gospel because it claims to be according to the gospel. That's what I take issue with. The "rapture" as it is commonly taught today is a false teaching that allows for lost people to have a second chance at salvation. That is a lie whose inspiration is straight from Satan. He's the only one who would want people to feel comfortable in their lost condition.

I believe there will be a Rapture...pre-Trib, even. If I'm wrong? Well, it's not an issue my salvation is dependent upon.
Scripture doesn't say, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and a pre-Trib Rapture, and thou shalt be saved." Or, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and no Rapture at all, and thou shalt be saved."
It says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." Period.
Someday the Lord will return for His church - Scripture promises that. Whether that return is pre-Trib, mid-Trib, or post-Trib will not alter the fact that those who have placed their trust in Christ will be with Him for all eternity!
