Hi all. I have noticed some things, and would like the chance to vent. You can choose to ignore it, or you can add your opinions as well.
First of all, I am noticing that praise threads quickly become fight threads. What is interesting to me is this:
The white horse thread was locked due to fighting, namecalling, etc. It has since reopened?!
The thread I started titled Why was moved with no explanation. When I last viewed that thread, helpful things were happening. Granted, I didn't view it in it's entirety, so I don't know what went on. But why remove a thread completely, and not others.
How many threads can YOU count that have name calling in them?
Another thing I've noticed is lack of response from Snotty. Snotty, are you there?
Yesterday there was a thread called This is it.......started as an uplifting thread. Quickly turned into bickering, but not nearly as bad as others......and it's locked.
Is there anyone in charge who can explain these?

The only thing I can answer on this post is the White horse thread. It was never locked. Snotty left it open because it was prior to the boards closing. When we returned I asked him about it, and he said he left them all mostly I think to allow everyone to see what happened, and to give everyone the opportunity to NOT continue where they left off...without using "force" to do so. Although it was NOT my FIRST thought on how it should be handled...it did in fact work. No one posted on those "questionable" threads, even though they were all left open...but then people bumped them back to the top for some reason? I actually did the same thing...I thought a thread had been locked, then realized it hadn't been...it was prior to the closing of the boards. For your other concerns, I DO know that Snotty gets WAY TOO MANY PM's. From what I understand, he tried to read them all, but couldn't possibly be expected to address them all individually (especially since there are usually many on the same topic..."this thread has.." and "why is this poster...." and you get the idea). I think for a "general rule" all the board would be MUCH MORE effective if you all as members pm'd the moderators and global moderators with your concerns and then we can either handle them or filter them up the chain of command. That way, Snotty wouldn't be so overburdened in his "inbox" preventing him from even FINDING the "important" pm's until much later. I don't think most of the posters on this board realize how BIG this community really is. We have roughly 500 members here, ALL with complaints, concerns, questions, etc. To make matters even worse, many members have made confrontation on the boards (including moderators) and then pm'd, emailed etc...and some people are being overloaded. I will tell you all that I have never received a pm about moderating anything, or even questions/concerns from a member...and any time I SEE a thread addressing the mods or staff, I try to respond. But, we need to USE this chain of command set up here, instead of being so afraid of it. Any time you have a question/concern/problem...send it to a moderator, NOT snotty. We all will do what we can to address it. If it needs snotty, we will all do what we can to contact him to resolve the issue. But we need to lessen the load being dumped into snotty's lap so that he CAN find the important information... Imagine your email accounts...if it is anything like mine, I find emails a few days old on ocpkmtyolcion that I OVERLOOKED because of all the junk mail! That would be about what snotty's inbox looks like! I know Aprile has left, and I am sorry about that...but since it was mentioned that no one responded here, I wanted to reply for others reading. And again...most of these complaints/concerns etc could best be addressed by pm'ing a moderator and waiting patiently for a response (follow up with a "have you heard anything?" if more than a day or so has gone by with no reply, since we are not all online at the same time...)
