I am willing, for now, to put up with the ads. The reason this site is free, is because of the advertising, so I do not block them. Just a question, my pop-up blocker is disabled, and I'm not getting that many ads; only a few large ones that appear behind the MB page. How many and what type is everyone else getting?
TYvm God bless

Yeah, I also just get a few that don't show up in front, unless I ask them to. No biggie over here. When I start working again (going to look Tues.), I wouldn't mind donating. Side note, yay I feel good enough to go back to work after a year and a half! ok, I am done. If I get some money before, I'll donate. It would be worth it to help out everyone who is getting flooded and keep our board together.

For all of you who don't have checking accounts or credit cards but still want to donate. Ask a friend of yours to donate and give them the money. I don't think it's a good idea to send the money to me. I'm sure there are all sorts of legal complications that can arise from that. So ask a friend and maybe they can help. I don't want to have to deal with any money coming to me. I think that's best. Sincerely, [glow=green,3,300]Snotty ;D[/glow]

You would need 20 people per month to donate $6.99 So....if you had 240 people donating, that would only be $6.99 per year per person. Maybe a system could be set up that assigns each person willing to donate a specific month. That way the people who have offered (if you could get 240 people) would only be out $6.99/year. Thoughts anyone? I'm sure there are plenty of us out here that $6.99 per year wouldn't hurt... I might even be willing to set up a spreadsheet assigning the months if there were enough people. By the way, what happens if you go OVER the amount necessary? That is why it would be good to keep track of the people donating.

When someone donates $6.99 by clicking the "Make a Donation" button on the bottom of any screen, 1 credit is deposited into our ad-removal bank. Then I get to use these credits for any month I choose. But we can't have too many credits, they will be stored in our bank until I use them. So if 200 people donated right now and we had 200 credits, we'd be able to use them whenever we wished, just like a real bank. BTW, at the time of this post, we currently have 4 credits in the bank. Although it takes up to 72 hours for a donation to go through, so there might be more on there way. Sincerely, [glow=green,3,300]Snotty ;D[/glow]

That makes it much simpler to take care of. God Bless!

Is there a place where we can see the credits? I know on CIC there is a thing that says there is $$$$ in the donations or something like that. Is there something here like that? I haven't seen it.

I am currently coming up with a way to show how many donations we've had.

I've got my popup blocker disabled on this site and I'm not getting any ads. I wonder how often they popup?
