morning babysis - maybe i've not had enough coffee yet but - huh Have you tried your coffee with raw sugar? or a shot of chocolate syrup? I am so spoiled. In regard to the Eucharist, Jesus told his disciples regarding himself after the resurrection, "You believe because you have seen, blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe." Since the days of the early Church and all through Church history this applied as well to Christs real but mysterious presence in the Eucharist. Once again he asks us to believe beyond what our eyes can see. Is he there or isn't he? If he is there I certainly would not want to miss out on such an intimate encounter with Him. If he is not there, no harm done. I believe He is there in a way we cannot understand but just as real as me sitting in this chair. The priest is only an instrument of the Holy Spirit who brings about an immeasurable change.

Hello Petro - long time no type! I do enjoy the raw sugar! In the winter I'll sprinkle some cinamon in the grounds prior to brewing also. Haven't tried the shot of chocolate - caramel yes but not the chocolate -- will do!
I was hoping babysis would have detailed her reply for me a little, i just didn't understand what she was saying. WHO just thinks they know. I know because it's something you can feel when you are truly engrained in the celebration. I just thought it was odd that those who worship satan know the reality of the Eucharist and yet fellow christians can not understand.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread. Let me go reread what I said so I can remember.

They just think they know. By this I just meant that the satanist think they know what "it's all about". But I disagree on the real presence issue so in my opinion, if they think that, then they aren't right. But again, that's just my opinion. No, I can't argue it, I just read the Bible and allow my beliefs to be set by the Holy Spirit. But how can someone who is not a Christian REALLY understand something like that, going with the idea that you are correct. They just THINK they understand.
