The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao; The Last Word that can be named is not the eternal Last Word.

3.14159265358959 --TDv2.0 1:4:9 Actually, that's a number, so it can't qualify as "the last word".

"Eternity" is the last word because it goes on forever....... ;D
Happy New Year, Christian.

Oops! "Eternity" can't be the last word because I moved it to the beginning of the sentence. Or is it "sentence", or is it the "full stop"? Then again it can't be "full stop" because that is two words, which were followed by "?" And yet "?" and "." aren't really words, but have words added to them.......
Ouch, my head hurts!

The last word must be "dot."
Why?
Because the person who invented "." to end a written sentence obviously decided that it needed a name and christened it "dot" And "dot" can mean "full stop".

The last word must be "dot." Why? Because the person who invented "." to end a written sentence obviously decided that it needed a name and christened it "dot" And "dot" can mean "full stop". I thought that was a period. As in.."I have the last word. Period"
