I need help, I don't even know what to do anymore, I have been trying so hard to be a good Christian but it seems the harder I try the more I get knocked down, it' like all of a sudden everyone in my life is so dishonest, I am having trouble here on the boards, I'm catching my family in so many lies and so many people seem to get pleasure out of being mean to me. Is it me or what?
People say to stay away from anyone who brings you down in God, well I would have to stay away from almost everyone I know. Believe it or not I am a very loving, honest person, I would give anyone the shirt off my back or my last dollar, although I would do that even before I found God. What is so offensive about me, why do so many people have problems with me, please, some honest answers here.
Please pray for me, I need help in my Christianity.
Blessings

You are letting the boards get to you. There is no need for that. Please read my post in that thread. I was a bit sarcastic, but I did mean what I said. You don't see these people or interact with them in person in your daily life.
Take a few days off of the boards. Spend some time with your friends and family in person. Then come back to the boards refreshed and knowing that if someone says something that hurts you, to ignore him or her.

Relax. Kick back, put your feet up, grab a good book, sip a gpkmtyoll of wine, and enjoy a nice relaxing night in the REAL world. Don't let the IP's get ya down.

OH OH OH OH OH!!!!
Did you hear that because of the heat wave in France, that this year's Bordeaux is supposed to be among the best in decades!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are planning on buying a case or so and storing it for a special ocpkmtyolcion 20 years down the road.
I also fancy Gwertztrameiner and Reisling for whites and Shiraz for reds.
If you ever want to talk wine, I'll be a willing wino, er, I mean participant.
Agape, want to join us in a wine tasting. I guarantee instant giggles!

I'm not that fond of the Shiraz' Reisling is good, but I'm mostly a red man. I like my Bordeaux & Cabs... there's one Merlot in particular that I REALLY like. It's made right here on good 'ole Long Island. Lenz. It's delicious, but a tad over-priced. Try it if you can find it. Long Island is really starting to produce some good stuff now!

In my OP I did mention my family and said how I was having trouble with them, maybe its because I am learning to be a better Christian that I notice people around me more and the things they do that are so wrong. Will have to reread your post, I didn't notice you being sarcastic, will have to yell at you on it if you were ;D Think I will have a gpkmtyoll of your wine billbo

So's Missouri. It's known for it's Vignoles, which is a white that isn't well known in wine circles. It is usually very sweet and used for a dessert wine - I'm good for it in very, very small amounts. The late harvest vignoles is almost a syrup and I can only have a sip or two because it is soooo sweet. The reds we are known for are Nortons which I don't care for, but being a Cab and a Bordeaux fan, you may like it. It's one that ages well.
I've found with Shiraz, that anything from France or California is terrible and that the only good Shiraz is from Australia. If you don't like it, I'll bet you got it from France or California. Yuck!
I haven't seen anything from Long Island here, but I will look. I love trying wine from places that you wouldn't expect to produce wine. I highly recommend Portugese Madira.
Have you tried Gwertz? If you haven't, try a bottle from Fetzer - it's around $8, but I've seen it cheaper and it's all over the place. It is a bit spicy and every beer lover that I've had try it loves it.
Agape - please have a gpkmtyoll - on bilbo.

ACTUALLY... Long Island is starting to become rather well known for it's wines.. and they're a bit pricey because they don't have anywhere NEAR the acreage that the vintners in California & Washington have. I had no idea ANY wine came from Missourri, and I've never heard of either of the varieties you mentioned.
Don't get the wrong impression of me though, I'm no wine connosseur.. I've only been drinking wine for about 6 months now. I started mainly for my heart, but have come to enjoy it.
