yesturday I put a patch on my back for sore muscles and then my eye started to itch and with out thinking I rubbed it with the same hand I had just used to put the patch on. It felt like fire in my eye! I did everything the people who make the patch said to do in such a case...rinsed it for 15 minutes and then rested them for 5 hours. they felt better when I went to sleep but when I woke up they were sore. my left eye is very painful and dry and my right is itchy and my vision keeps blurring. I am having a hard time focusing so am probably making a lot of typos that I may not catch. Anyway please pray that my eyes will improve. My husband is going to be out of town for a couple of days and not being able to drive is going to be a pain. I already had to cancel a visit with my daughter's birth mom. Thanks in advance.

You might want to call the poison control center (sorry I don't have the number) any hospital could provide this to you such as the Emergency Room. They could give you instructions on any possible remedies. OUCH!!

I called back the place we called last night and they said I needed to see an opthomologist right away so we are trying to arrange that. Of course my doctor is not "in" for another half hour yet.

Yes, you need to see a opthomologist! I called my sister before I got to the end of the thread and she said to get in as soon as you can and they can rinse it and fix you up in no time but they will be sore and puffy for a bit! I've said a pray! Take care and let us know how you're feeling! darcy

I've said a pray! Take care and let us know how you're feeling! darcy Yes I went to see the opthomologist and they said that the chemicals had taken off part of the film that covers my eye and that was causing the pain and that the ocasional blurring was caused by mucus of my eyes trying to heal themselves. I am to put artificial tears in my eyes and it will go away...he says in a few days. I got contacts 5 months ago and took them out wrong once and it caused the same problem. The doctor told me it would take a few days to heal but it took over a month. I wear gpkmtyolles now as it was not worth it to me. Anyway it is nice to know I am not going blind :-) Thank you all for your prayers.

Dear sister - I am so sorry I didn't get here sooner - though I see you have had plenty of prayer cover.
We are very blessed to have such great prayer warriors. I know that you hurt your eye and that it had begun to heal. I do pray that you are totally better and can function to drive again. Please keep us apraised with an update. You remain in my thoughts and prayers. ysic, Vada][/color]

I wonder if it had capsaicin in it? That is the "business part" of PEPPERS...
Call your optomologist's office and ask for an optical pain-killer. I'm not sure if one of the "cane" brothers (benzocane, xylocane, lidocane etc) will work in the eye, but I know there IS stuff that WILL...
Prayin' for your recovery...
