Coffee just tastes absolutely, horrifically bad. Hot chocolate is the way to go, plus you don't get hooked on caffeine. How about hot chocolate in your coffee? Thats how I take mine. I mix my coffee with a pack of instant milk chocolate mix. MmmMmm Good! I have worked my way down to about 2 cups a day. donna

Start off with scalding hot black COFFEE straight from the pot in a large mug and throw in a HERSHEY'S KISS. By the time COFFEE's cool enough to drink, the HERSHEY'S KISS's is melted into the COFFEE. Just perfect. to' potê'rion peplê'rôtai ;D

If I ever want caffeine, I will buy a Water Joe and make hot chocolate with it. Otherwise, coffee is still a horrifically, nasty tasting beverage.

coffee, coffee, coffee! SUCKS!! [ Added by PhilipDC78] Ha, sorry, that just reminded me of my middle school days when groups of people or teams would chant, and other groups would chant something like that in counter-rythm to them so make it sound like it went together.

My wife got me into the whole world of coffee. I usually must have soethig special in it like a shot of some other flavor. Today I got a cafe mocha. i don't know how they make it but it has just the right blend of chocolate and coffee so it is not too sweet and not to strong. Still, I will be buszing most of the day. Even one cup of coffee can do that to me so I don't drink more than one cup in the morning.
And (can I say the word here?) I drink "Postum" once in a while.
Anyone tried Yerba Mate. I saw it in the healthfood store. It has as much caffeine as coffee but it is made from a plant in the Brazilian rain forest or soemthing.

It is a type of tea where all the leaves and spices are suspended in the water, and you drink it through a metal straw that has a filteron the end? That is actually from Paraguay.

Yeah, you are right, it is mate, and it is nasty stuff... in my opinion. I had a friend from paraguy who loved it. Absolutely revolting to me.

In fact the smell of the teabag resembles the distinctive aroma of the mixture of cigarettes and beer. Like if someone put their cigarette butt into a beer can or spilled beer into an ashtray. It reminded me of a bowling alley or bar. If one can get past that.....the tea is not too bad if you add about a teaxyhgt of sugar. But we are a long way from coffee.
