Though sometimes its best to examine those beliefs when so many people are dying because of them. Freedom is never free. It is always paid for in blood. Try remembering 9/11. The soldiers do! Thjat's what this is about.

And you still think we're in Iraq because of 9/11?

Even Don Rumsfeld said that the other night on Hardball with Chris Matthews. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4865948/MATTHEWS: You believe there’s still a possibility that the Iraqi government had something to do with planning the attack on us, 9/11?
RUMSFELD: Not to my knowledge.

No reason to think otherwise? Maybe you missed the pentagon admitting this already...... I think you're listening to Bush's detractors saying the people at the Pentegon said things they didn't say. Just wait and watch.

It really doesn't matter. Either Bush will get re-elected, or Kerry will be in office. One way or another, nothing will change.

Donald Rumsfeld is a Bush detractor? I've not heard him say any such thing. You may have heard him say they don't have absolute proof, but they have evidence and Don believes the connection is there, just as Bush does.

Read post #167 of this thread along with the link. You may wish to re-phrase your answer. Once again, you're twisting or just seeing what you wish to see. No one ever said Iraq was a partner of Al Qaida in the plot on 9/11. What was said was Iraq, through Saddam was allowing Al Qaida to train in Iraq, which is correct. Saddam supported Al Qaida.

Twisting? Actually in post #21 and #31 of this thread you said as much. Aslo, what did Saddam have to gain from being associated with Al Qaida? They didn't like his secular form of government either.

Saddam would have supported any groups that opposed the USA. He certainly helped Al Qaida with funds and training facilities.
