So if you want a fight you aren't going to get one. Now THAT'S the Christian way to respond. Well done, Michael.

Agape - "When my daughter had to study evolution in high school she laughed her head off at how stupid the teacher sounded,"
I am sorry to hear that your daughter's teacher did not satisfactorily convey the information, but one teacher's inability to knowledgeably discuss evolutionary theory is hardly evidence that the theory is in any way flawed.
"my dughter is very shy but that was the one time in her life she forgot about her shyness and let everyone in cpkmtyoll know how stupid evolution was and how it made so much more sense to believe in God"
You and your daughter are apparently operating under the mistaken belief that one cannot simultaneously acknowledge evolutionary theory as accurate and believe in God. It is certainly possible to do so, and even a large majority of the scientific community does so.
"at least He offered more proof then the scientist did she told them."
While God has certainly given us a great deal of evidence of how He created, every scrap of that evidence indicates that He created through the Big Bang Theory and evolutionary theory. To date, not a single piece of evidence has ever been found to be in contradiction of either theory. If you believe that you are in possession of any such evidence, by all means, let's see it.

I've been thinking about the OP. "Is Everything Made Out Of Matter". Matter as in solid? No. Nothing is really "solid". According to physics, even your molecules are in constant motion. And, according to quantum physics, everything exists as a wave until it is observed...therefore, everything is really energy as opposed to "solid matter". So, which came first? Consciousness came first. Then matter, but only by observation. Consciousness created matter, but it is all energy anyway.... Blessings, Shirley

Matter isn't defined as something that is solid. Matter i...s :)P material substance that occupies space, has pkmtyolm, and is composed predominantly of atoms consisting of protons, neutrons, and electrons, that constitutes the observable universe, and that is interconvertible with energy Matter is anything that takes up space

Hi Michael ! Glad your back. If there was not a God way would man/woman have a belief system of right and wrong?
Next Question: The evolutionst insist that we evolved from apes. Why didn't all apes evolve? Why did some spieces choose to remain apes?

I don't claim to know alot about science because I don't, so would someboby please tell me in simple terms-of course How did life get started from non-living material- because you can not get something from nothing unless you are God! If everything is made out of matter you and me and the world then how did the world get here? Either 1. Somebody made the world or-2. the world made itself- So if it was not created like the book of Genesis tells us then how did it get here? God Bless Matter always existed. But it was in a different form. It's original form. Energy is matter in a different form. Energy has always existed. Was there ever a time when God didn't exist? No. He is the Supreme being and He is absolute pure energy - the source of all life and light. Was there ever a time when matter didn't exist? No. Can even God create out of absolutely nothing? No - unless, of course, the New Agers are right when they say that everything is God.... Does a potter make pottery without clay? No. There must have been something to begin with from which the Creator made all things. An original state existed. Infinite time already existed. It always had. It simply is. And it always will. It's the same with God. Its hard to imagine because we humans are used to thinking of all things as having a beginning, middle and end. We think similarly with regard to Time, in the sense of Creation and human history. But we know, as Christians, WE'LL ALWAYS BE ALIVE! Wow!!! It's mind-blowing! Our feeble human minds really cannot grasp it! It's beyond our human comprehension! Your Brother in Christ, Andy.

In His Love ysic pippin Correction: The only "evolutionists" you will find that will claim man evolved from apes is one that is wholly uneducated in Evolutionary Theory. As has been posted many, many ,many many times on these threads (I don't see how you could have missed it); according to Evolutionary Theory man and ape shared a common ancestor, not that one evolved from the other. From this common ancestor man evolved in one direction and apes in another.

If the Big Bang had occurred, the intricate designs of all living things would not exist. Everything would be a lifeless mess! As for evolution, that suggests that God did not create everything perfect in the beginning. God doesn't make mistakes! He's perfect. We humans make mistakes all the time....... Your Brother in Christ, Andy.

Thats right It has to do with the bonds between atoms and molecules. Strong bonds form solids-they are very rigid. Weaker bonds form liquids-they stay together but are easily broken. Without bonds you have pkmtyolges-which fly all over the place. Energy can only be defined in the terms of a physical world. God is a spiritual being choosing to enter this physical world when he chooses. Outside our realm of the physical one doesn't need energy. God isn't energy-He was here before energy was created. Why can't God create out of nothing? God didn't need a 6 day creation either. He could have created it in one second. Evolution doesn't suggest that God made mistakes. If evolution was his chosen method of creation then the results of that would be perfect.

pippin - "If there was not a God way would man/woman have a belief system of right and wrong?"
How is the question in any way relevant to the topic of this discussion? Neither evolutionary theory nor any other scientific principle is capable of making statements regarding God's existence.
"The evolutionst insist that we evolved from apes."
No, evolutionary theory demonstrates that humans and modern apes share a common ancestor. If you would debate evolutionary theory, kindly educate yourself as to what the theory really says.
"Why didn't all apes evolve?"
All extant species, be they human, ape, crab, or bacterium, are equally evolved, as each is a result of over 3.5 billion years of evolution.
"Why did some spieces choose to remain apes?"
"Choosing" would imply that there is some conscious choice involved in evolution. When one examines what evolutionary theory really says, one discovers that there is no such choice involved.
IAM4GOD - "Can even God create out of absolutely nothing? No"
Why not?
"God didn't need some make-believe 'Big Bang' and some process or other of 'evolution' to create all things."
Whether God needed to use the Big Bang and evolution in order to create the universe and life is irrelevant, as all evidence indicates that He did use them.
"If the Big Bang had occurred, the intricate designs of all living things would not exist."
And you base this conclusion on what evidence?
"As for evolution, that suggests that God did not create everything perfect in the beginning."
Not at all. If evolution was God's chosen means of creating, there is no basis for stating that His Creation was not perfect in His eyes. Instead of basing your objections to evolutionary theory on irrelevant theological arguments, why don't you try backing them up with genuine scientific evidence? The conclusions reached by the scientific community are based on evidence alone, and are certainly not answerable to any interpretation of any religious text.
