Thank you to all of those who replied in kind words.
Really, I just want to discuss these small doctrines that make it hard for me to go along with a certain denomination. I am very discouraged as to why we have so many denominations claiming they are the true church, and only one Lord.
So far, the only replies that have defended these obstacles have been weak. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to why these denominations in the OP believe the way they do, and why other denominations do not.
Thanks again,

They gave up their confidence in their "more sure word of prophecy" and took their eyes off of the Inspired Word of GOD and turned to the leadership of their priests and unsaved leaders. You go out on a large body of water and have your compkmtyolp get off track by a single degree and you will miss your destination by miles. The fact is that a separate thread could be started for each of the groups. As you can tell - I am a Baptist - but I belong to a very strict group that would prefer the name Biblicist. There are so many mutts and spin-offs of the biblical Baptists and hardly any of them are even worthy of the name.

And that's what happens when you have no central leadership that teaches with real authority...mutts...spin-offs....schisms.....
...You see the problem here....you just condemned the entire Reformation; Even Luther was dismayed at the immediate splintering that occured....he said something to the effect that there are as many doctrines as there are heads...That's a serious condemnation of a movement that he led. Instantly, the spirit of confusion descended upon the rebellion, and they even fought amongst themselves. That is no Holy Spirit. And for present day non-RC denominations to disown Luther and his teachings; very interesting...A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, So if his Doctrines were bad (the ones he carried over) then the movement cannot be good. The protestant movement was led by a false prophet, and many were led into apostasy. Satan had a field day in my opinion. Rebellion is anti-biblical; If you are a firm bible-believer, then you could not support the rebellion of the Reformation.
God bless
