Andy, This is the biggest problem we have at the moment, you refuse to see what evolution really says (no, reading A book on evolution doesn't mean you know what it REALLY says). In that case, I had better not read any more books on the subject and I certainly shouldn't have read anything about it in New Scientist magazine. It REALLY does not have ANYTHING to do with the creation of the world. Well, isn't that funny, and there I was thinking that our world was a living planet teeming with life. Seems I was wrong all along. No, Creation is everything that God has made, including the natural processes that are going on within it. The "Big Bang" theory (which does have to do with the creation of the world) is a COMPLETELY different and separate theory from evolution. So if the Big Bang really happened, God had nothing to do with it? If evolution really happened God had nothing to do with it? If both theories are true, the Big Bang wouldn't have needed to happen first?
God Bless, Andy.

Andy, What they are trying to say is that evolution does not explain how the universe was created. It only explains how the variety in the universe came about. Evolution starts from the assumption that the universe existed, not that the universe needed to be created. 1. Macroevolution has never been proved.
2. The universe never needed to be created.
3. The right conditions must already have existed for evolution to have taken place, e.g. the light and thermal energy (heat) of the sun required to sustain life. So your statement that evolution is wrong because it does not explain the creation of the universe is like saying a cookbook is wrong because it does not explain how to plant and grow fruits and plants, or raise animals and then butcher them for meat. I never said that. The cookbook assumes that you have the ingredients and are ready to make some sort of food. In the same way, evolution assumes that there was an already created universe that life then came about in. So your true demand should not be that evolution prove how the universe was created. Your demand should be that evolution prove how the universe became the way it is since it was created. Do you mean "Your demand should be that evolution prove how life on Earth became the way it is since it was created"? The Bible speaks of a fallen Creation stripped of much of its God-given glory. Evolution assumes that living things are improving all the time, which isn't the case.
God Bless, Andy.

The biblical account in Genesis of how God created everything in the very beginning is historical fact. The Bible is an historical text. Andy. Uhm, no, it isn't. Its a religious/faith document and is no more historical than the Bagahvad Gita. Uhm, yes it is. The Bible is a historical faith document and the Bagahvad Gita book is no more holy than any of Satan's other teachings. God Bless, Andy.

God Bless, Andy. You can have the Big Bang Theory without evolution and you can have evolution without the Big Bang Theory. They don't BOTH had to have happened. And, in my opinion, if the Big Bang really did happen, then it is God who caused it to happen. So either way, God still did it.
